- If your washer is rocking back and forth or making a loud thumping noise, you could be using too big of a load. The washer will not function properly if the load is too heavy. Do not wash comforters in the washing machine. Please go to a laundry facility to do this.
- Another cause for your washing machine to make a loud thumping noise is if it is off balance. Stop the washer and re-situate your clothes.
- It is important to clean your lint trap after/before every load. The lint could build up and cause a fire if not cleaned after each drying cycle.
- If your dryer is not drying well, it is also probably because you have too big of a load in there. Try using smaller loads and cleaning the lint out.
