Move in and move out expectations:
Cityblock properties, INC. will deliver a property to a new tenant with all interior walls, ceilings and trim free of any nail holes, marks or stains. If a tenant moves in and finds walls, ceilings or trim in a condition to the contrary, the tenant must report the issue or document it on the move in condition report. It is expected that at the time the tenant vacates the premises, the tenants leave walls, ceilings and trim exactly in the move in condition.
Nail holes:
Tenants may use nails to hang decorations on the walls using nails designed for hanging but we highly recommend to use hooks that adhere to the wall without nailing that can be purchased at any hardware store. Upon move out the tenant’s chosen professional painting contractor or our contractor will need to fill those nail holes with spackle and paint over with 100% matching color, sheen and texture. No nail or screws are permitted on any wood work, trim, windows or doors. Tenants will not be responsible for any pre-existing damage that was documented by the tenant via the move in the inspection sheet provided by management.
Paint, stains and wall damage:
Tenants will be responsible for the cost to repaint due to wall stains, scuff marks or wall damage. Tenants will not be responsible for any pre-existing damage that was documented by the tenant via the move in the inspection sheet provided by management.
